Synopsis: ( From Amazon) “A side quest novella in the bestselling Geekomancy urban fantasy series--when D&D style adventures go from the tabletop to real life, look out!

Ree Reyes, urban fantasy heroine of Geekomancy, is working her regular barista/drink-slinger shift at Grognard's when it all goes wrong. Everything. “

If you've seen my review for “Celebromancy” you would know that I already have a love for this particular series. I love following the adventures of Ree Reyes and was happy to pick this story up, short or not. And it is intended to be a short story that is not a blight on this review.

Now if you have not read the previous books before this story (That being in order, “Geekomancy” and “Celebromancy”) you might not want to read this story just yet as it is written after those two. And if you've read the previously mentioned books you'll have an idea of what you're in for.

It is a story full of humor, magic, interesting characters (most importantly the lead character, Ree is wonderful as always. Important for a protagonist.) and general geekery. You need only read a few pages to know that the author knows their geeky knowledge.

Must buy if you're a fan of the other books.

RATING: 10 out of 10
